| The largest African Cobra, it averages 1,5 - 2 m, reaching a maximum of 2,7 m. The head, neck and forepart of the body are usually shiny yellowish brown, heavily flecked with black, becoming darker towards the posterior, sometimes with specking. Below creamy white to yellow, often with dark blotches. |
